I’ve recently taken a leap in customizing my Tesla, ordering the sleek Zero G wheels (part number 1044242-00-A). This set is not just any ordinary addition; it includes four stunningly designed wheels along with their center caps.

Let’s delve into the details:

• Front and Rear Wheels: Both measure an impressive 9Jx20″ with a 34mm offset, ensuring a bold and assertive stance.
• Material: Crafted from high-quality Aluminum, these wheels are the epitome of strength meets style.

This purchase marks my second attempt to acquire these beauties. My first direct order through Tesla took an unexpected turn when the final price upon arrival in the country exceeded my initial budget. While I was contemplating, other Tesla enthusiasts swiftly claimed them.

But fortune favored this time! I sourced the wheels through a contact, ensuring they were specifically shipped for me.

The order has been fully paid, and the shipping, intriguingly by sea, is expected to take up to 50 days.

The anticipated outcome is akin to the one in the last photograph I shared. As for the tires, I’m eyeing the 245/35ZR20 XL Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2, known for their exceptional performance.

PS: I plan to sell the original wheels and tires. If any local readers are interested, now is the perfect time to reach out. If they don’t sell, I might just install them on my wife’s car. Interestingly, my initial eBay purchase was canceled, and I got a refund. This led me to order directly from Tesla Israel, albeit at a higher price, but I was all in for it.

Finally, the day arrived when I received the awaited message from Tesla: “Your order is ready for pickup.”

I arrived early, set my car for charging, grabbed a coffee, and waited for the manager. Since I decided to keep the original tires, I had to transport four wheels – miraculously, all four boxes with the 20″ wheels fit in the car after a bit of Tetris.

For a modest fee of 400 Israeli Shekels (about $115), they switched the tires onto the new wheels and balanced them. After some tweaks in the car’s settings, the wheels were officially registered, completing the transformation.
