Story #1 – Epic of Acquisition:

Since 2018, when rumors first swirled about TESLA’s arrival in Israel, I started saving coins in my dream piggy bank. But as they say, good wine takes time, and TESLA officially arrived in Israel only in 2021. On February 1st, amid the fans, a piece of news flashed: “Tomorrow is D-Day!” And so, on February 2nd, 2021, just two minutes after sales began, I ordered my car and received it in March 2021 after a 55-day wait, which seemed like an eternity.

What is this page about? Here, I will try to share my impressions of owning this marvel of technology in Israel, talk about the pros and cons, and describe the “cosmetic” operations I performed on my car.

Improvements made for comfort and appearance:

✅ 1. Installation of an electric charging point for the car – Because who doesn’t love to recharge?

✅ 2. Detailing upon receipt, and then annually applying ceramic coating – My car must always look brand new!

✅ 3. Tinting the side windows – Because the sun in Israel is no joke.

✅ 4. Tinting the rear window and PPF for the front lights – Yes, I love the dark.

✅ 5. Vibration and sound insulation of the cabin – Because who doesn’t love silence? We all know Tesla is an emotional rollercoaster, bringing lots of emotions. But after every high, there sometimes comes a low, when you notice some downsides. One of them was crickets in the cabin. But thanks to the vibration and sound insulation, this problem was solved.

✅ 6. Vibration and sound insulation of the wheel arches – Because wheel noise is not music to my ears.

✅ 7. Installation of the missing Boombox – Because music is life!

✅ 8. Installation of door soft-closers – Because softness and grace are about my Tesla.

✅ 9. Purchasing the extended autopilot EAP – Because sometimes you want to relax and trust the car.

✅ 10. Installation of a carbon steering wheel with heating – Because comfort is important in any weather.

✅ 11. Installation of a Rear Diffuser from Maxton Design – Because style matters.

✅ 12. Installation of a Cargo Securing System – Because safety is paramount.

✅ 13. Zero G wheels from the Track Package – Because who doesn’t love beautiful wheels?

✅ 14. Fully black Alcantara interior – Because black is the new white.

✅ 15. Custom ambient lighting with laser-engraved dashboard – Because personalization is key to uniqueness.

✅ 16. Tesla Box – A spy gadget for the tech-savvy enthusiast.

Why I chose Model 3, and what’s so special about it?

✅ 1. Cost. No, I’m not stingy, but who doesn’t love a good deal? The cost of the car plus its maintenance in Israel is simply irresistible.

✅ 2. Power. I needed a car that would be lightning in the city and thunder on the track on weekends. And Model 3 fits this role perfectly.

✅ 3. Technology. I wanted a car that was so packed with features that it would be hard to count them. And guess what? Tesla is exactly what the doctor ordered.

✅ 4. Range. I wanted a car that could travel at least 300 km on a single charge. And Model 3 easily accomplishes this task.

And now about the downsides.

❌ 1. The build quality sometimes leaves much to be desired, and frequent revisions can make two cars, released in the same year, quite different in the details, be it wipers or door lighting. But, fortunately, many of these problems can be solved with tuning.
